White and light colored bed sheets could be washed with warm water, but avoid washing them with other colored sheets, especially if washing colors for the first time. This will help you avoid bleeding colous that could stain your white sheets permanently. Wash deep/dark colors separately with cold water (recommended). Dry them in shade to retain the color and softness. Keep away from direct sunlight to avoid fading.
